Matcha porridge

Serves: 1

Prep Time: 5 minutes


  • ½ cup oats
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup milk (any)
  • 1 tsp high quality matcha powder


  1. Add the oats and coconut milk to a pan
  2. Dissolve the matcha in a little water
  3. Bring the oats to the boil until a thick creamy porridge has formed
  4. Turn off the heat and add the dissolved matcha, and stir through thoroughly
  5. Transfer to bowl and top with maple syrup just before serving
