Blueberry, mint and yoghurt porridge

Serves: 2

Prep Time: 5 -8 mins


  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 cup water

to serve

  • 1 handful of blueberries per person
  • 1 dollop of yogurt per person
  • Sprinkling of fresh mint
  • Seed mix (Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and linseeds), sprinkling


If you are having trouble thinking beyond something egg or avocado based when it comes to breakfast then try making this blueberry, mint and yoghurt porridge. It’s quick, healthy and easy to make as well as being a welcome break from cereal and far more tasty! The oats are soothing on your stomach and great for digestion.


  1. Place the oats into a pan on a medium heat, add the water (make sure it is boiling) then leave stirring occasionally until all the water has been absorbed or boiled off.
  2. Divide into two bowls and add the yogurt, blueberries and mint before serving.
